Car Candy: Vintage Mercedes
I spotted this mint-condition, racing-green Mercedes parked all by itself on Fairfield Street today. Any contemporary car would be embarrassed to be seen parked next to this beauty, I guess!
Wow! When it comes to stunning automobiles, you definitely have a sweet tooth.
The way you’ve framed the shot, it could be Fairfield Street, late 1950s. I’m no expert, but this beautiful cabriolet looks like a Mercedes 220S. Very rare and very collectible.
Just in case you develop an uncontrollable “car candy" craving, I’ve included a link to everything (yes, prices too) you could possibly hope to know about this model.
The only thing I ask in return is, “could I have a ride?”
