Beautiful fee-simple town house in fabulous neighborhood near Radcliffe campus. Our deal went south because buyers are grimmed out that our old dog is buried in the garden. Their squeamishness can be your opportunity! 3.5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, original millwork, high ceilings. LR, DR, eat-in kitchen, plus in-law or Au Pair suite or office in fully finished basement (separate entrance.) Drive by and have a look! If you like what you see, call Gail Roberts at Caldwell Banker, 617-864-4430, or email us with questions. 68 Walker st., Cambridge.

By the way, we saw this house, and it scared us off long before we heard anything about the poor dog. Do you suppose the buyers fear the garden is haunted? Or are they simply looking for an excuse to get out of the deal, seeing as the place needs a considerable amount of renovation? Nah; couldn't be....

Maybe the sellers should charge more: Not every garden comes with a dead dog.
