Toffee Update

No news is good news so far. We have found no signs of the gold cord or the Christmas tree light bulbs he allegedly swallowed. He eats heartily, and plays and hangs out with us during our meals same as always. He is getting a little tired of the other cats asking him to stick his tail into an electrical outlet so they can watch his belly light up....

  1. I am a new reader to your blog, and I am not sure if I am in the position to share my experience with you. But I will do it anyway. When my human kid was slightly younger than one year old, I saw her standing alone with a broken Christmas ornament with one piece missing. I called our ped, took her to an emergency room, and got x-rays done. There was no sign of foreign objects in her body. All my husband I could do was observe and wait. I was so worried and sick to my stomach for days. Five months later, we packed all of our stuff to move to Boston. We rolled our rag, and found the missing piece. It was there all the time. I hope your cat Toffee's situation is same or similar to ours; the string or bulbs never got into the body. I'll cross my fingers for Toffee.
