Here are more photos from our visit last Sunday with Connie, foster mom extraordinaire and blogger at Tails from the Foster Kittens.
Here is Romeow Flower. Connie says he's the most outgoing and sociable of the litter. Possibly the sweetest, too. His middle name is Flower, and that's what Connie calls him because it suits him perfectly.
He is into baskets, in a bitey kind of way.
Now that we have Lion, I can say unequivocally that everyone needs a tuxedo cat. They're so elegant, adding a welcome touch of formality to any setting. You'll probably find that you have more dignified posture without ever thinking about it — and dressing a little nicer, and accessorizing more. And soon you'll be writing your friends charming notes on pretty stationery.... okay, that last one is an exaggeration. But I wish it were true of me. If you adopt Romeow it might become true of you.
He found an empty Friskies* box:
Yes, he's pretty formal. And fierce, and sweet.
* I should mention that Connie feeds her own crew homemade raw food. She showed us her new grinder and explained how they can make enough food to feed their seven for a month in just a couple of hours. They have a nice big freezer, unlike us. But her foster kittens have to be fed whatever the shelter provides, which is often supermarket food like Friskies, sorry to say. Let's hope these kittens all go to good homes where people realize that cats are carnivores and need a high-quality, all-meat diet.
