We don't get to see much of this guy's belly, and that's a shame. It may not be the largest in the house, but it's the fluffiest and most colorful.
Toffee is still the scientist of the family: lately he's been experimenting with gravity. He goes up on our oak bookcases, which puts him at about eye-level with me. Then he rolls and flops around so that portions of him hang perilously over the side — sometimes his head, upside-down, and shoulders; sometimes most of his back — just to see if he will fall.
When I tell the cats that Toffee is probably the first scientist to live here since Professor Sabine, a very tough act to follow, Possum likes to point out that Toffee has much more hair.
