Making a Scene

When I was in acting school, I discovered that simply seating two silent people on-stage, in front of an audience, can create instant theater. Let's see if it works for cats:

  1. Absolutely love this!!

  2. I can almost hear their conversation.

  3. Bravo! Encore!

I have a weak spot for a kitty with a bit of tongue sticking out. Mine used to occasionally do a big yawn and close her mouth before her tongue had finished stretching, leaving a charming little pink sliver in her normally dignified expression.

  4. Hi. Love those kitties! Is that a Celia Judge painting in the background?

    1. Thank you! That is a Sam Vokey oil study, which I found in a stack on his kitchen floor during the Fenway Open Studios a few years ago. We bought two (digging around pays off), and had a great time talking to him. Instead of wrapping them for us, he asked to keep them for a week for "fix them up." His gallery works are out of reach for us, so we're delighted that we got two bargains and made a new friend in the deal.

Spam goes right into the trash but I appreciate relevant comments from non-spammers (and I can always tell the difference). I do my best to follow up if you have a question. ALL spam, attempts to market other websites, and anything nasty or unintelligible gets deleted instantly. The cats and I thank you for reading — and please feel free to comment on what you read.
